PERUGIA has many places where to read or study a book. When Spring arrived We can goes to "Tempio Romano" , near "Saint Angel's Door" (porta S. Agelo), at the top of "Corso Garibaldi" and only 200 mt from University for Foreigners. Perugia's Map. In that place, an old paganic temple, builded before Crhist, there is a big lawn, as you can see in the photo below, where you can stay to read your books and where you can meet others students as you. In fact near here, there are many university student's rooms. Another important place where to study and fo find University's texts for free is the Perugia Communal's Library. In that library, one of oldest as "University library" in the world, you can find more than 500,000 book's copies. All students - italian and foreigners - and Perugia's citizens can to loan 2 books just to 15 days, all for free., remember to keep your University pass. The same thing is for use of internet: in that library is free, also there are few Desktops, but if you go to S.Sisto, where there is the "Bibliomediateca", dedicated to Sandro Penna, a Perugins poetry, ( in the photo below that kind of Ufo..) there are many desktops, where to surf in internet all for free: remember your 'university pass' also here. In that place you can also find newspapers, DvD, Cd and books, and you can keep its for some days in your home. Only few months ago opened, in Corso Vannucci, in the center of Perugia, Feltrinelli's library. That is a private library, but Feltrinelli knows in all the world for some exceptional things: There are books in Italian, English, German, Japan and others important languages. The library is on 2 floors and has many books that you can read before sell its!! You can also read all a book, if you want it, of course there are new books. I think that is the best private library in Perugia. .
