Umbria Jazz opening July 10, with many music Stars

UMBRIA JAZZ, is one of most important event in Umbria, that year will starts the July, 11. Also that year will be the most important names of international jazz music as Alicia Keys (July, 19); R.E.M.(July, 20); Mario Sellani, Stefano Bollani, Caetano Veloso, Sonny Rollins, the old jazz-man (78 years old!), Path Metheney,Stefano Rava, the italian knows in all the world. The first night ( 10, July) will be opening by two new italian talents. One discovered by X Factor Italian version: Cluster and Mario Biondi another new discoverde, but with his years.. Herbie Hancock is another 'big' of Jazz music that will sing in Umbria Jazz. We can said that UMBRIA JAZZ 2008, the 35th edition is very similar to the lasts, the only thing to change is not place where concerts goes on, not hors, but Perugia. In effect for Perugia that moment is a sort of 'new Rinascimento'. As Florence of middle-ages, Perugia is changing. The first step has been the Minimetrò. The Historical Center of Perugia is changing and rinnoving. The new 'traffic' of walkers of last months has been a good thing for Perugia's economy. The most part of shops situated in the medieval Center are changing and rennoving itself. That thing means only a thing: the business increased by 'new ways'. All car streets are changed. The streets prohibitions; the streets roudabauts; the Perugia's transport revolution was made for that goal: to help the Center of Perugia to not dies as in others many cities. The citizens went away from center and now there are only Offices, Shops, Universities and Student's rooms. That thing causes security problems, but that new politic is helping who lives and to habit in center and who works here... That one is positive also for tourists. Now there are more offerts of hotels, restaurants, shops, beer pubs, or pizzerie, or 'Kebaba's shops', or other things; now, we can said : the Perugia's Center lives!! I hope you'll come in Perugia for Umbria Jazz: it's a good things: the night many jazz spectors of concerts,after that ones stopped; students; tourists; or easy citizens , goes to the Cathedral's stairs ( where photo up, the header of that Blog, made) and 'jamming', plays guitars or 'toms', just to the first sunshines...Many trues 'jam sessions' I can saw the last years, very goods and exciting things...
